Fixings Supply for West Midlands Metro Tram Infrastructure

RCF Bolt & Nut supported the early construction phase of the West Midlands Metro, a major public transport and civil engineering project connecting Wolverhampton to Birmingham. The Metro line runs for approximately 13 miles and follows a key transport corridor between the two cities, helping improve regional connectivity and commuter access across the West Midlands.

As part of the first stage of development, RCF Bolt & Nut supplied essential fixings and fastening components required for the Metro’s construction. This supply played an important role in supporting the successful delivery of the project, contributing to the Metro line opening in 1999 and reintroducing tram transport to the Birmingham area for the first time since 1953.
