Traditional craftsmanship meets the latest in forging technology
Full-service manufacturing
Forging is one of the oldest metalwork processes in the world, and at RCF we combine the latest industry advances with the skills of traditional craftsmanship.
Our products are designed to meet the high expectations of our clients. To make that possible, we manufacture all of our own tooling to optimise efficiency, minimise costs and maintain an unrivalled level of precision.
Designing our own manufacturing machinery means we’re also capable of customising existing construction fasteners to create bespoke bolts for structural engineering – essential for projects where older systems are being replaced, using components that are difficult to source. Our machining capabilities are the reason why we’re one of the most trusted bolt and fastener manufacturers in the UK, servicing clients and projects that require specific, uncommon or even entirely bespoke types of fasteners.
European-sourced steel
Our alloy steel is sourced from Fundia in Sweden, before it reaches the skilled hands of our experiences machine operators. Each fastener is forged individually, giving us a superior level of quality on every product.
We manufacture fasteners from various grades of material to suit individual applications, including 4.6, 5.8, 8.8, 10.9, 12.9. Gr’5′, Gr’S’/’R’, Gr’T’, SAE ‘8’, B7/L7, Stainless steel A2-304, A4-316.
Our range of finishes include zinc plating, zinc and yellow, galvanising, sheradising, Sheraplex Blue, Rilsan, and PTFE coating.

CE Marking
The Construction Products Regulation (305/2011/EU), as per Article 1, sets out harmonised rules on the expression of the performance of certain construction products in relation to their essential characteristics.
Not all construction products are required to be CE marked, as Article 8 states that the CE mark can only be affixed where a declaration of performance has been drawn up and, as per Article 4, the deceleration can only be drawn up where the product is covered by a harmonised standard. So RCF Bolt & Nut shall ensure the CE mark is affixed where required.

The Quality Management System is applicable to the manufacture of hot forged fasteners and factoring of other types of fasteners into various market sectors. Manufacture of hot forged fasteners from M12 to M100 in all grades in accordance with NHSS 3 requirements.

The Made in Britain Campaign supports & promotes British manufacturing, enabling buyers and consumers at home and abroad to identify British-made products.

Achilles UVDB provides a fair, open and transparent means of supplier selection for potential tender opportunities.
