We are pleased to announce that, effective Friday 2 January 2026, the entire business of GSS Fasteners Ltd has been acquired by its sister company, RCF Bolt & Nut.

This internal transfer represents a significant milestone for the business and marks an important step in bringing our operations even closer together. RCF Bolt & Nut and GSS Fasteners have operated from the same site for many years, working collaboratively to support customers across a wide range of industries. This acquisition formalises that relationship and strengthens our ability to deliver an enhanced and more integrated service.

We are pleased to announce a significant investment in our machining operations with the addition of a Doosan Lynx 2100LB to our machine shop. This new CNC lathe strengthens our in-house capabilities and supports the continued development of our production facilities.

This upgrade forms part of our ongoing commitment to increasing capacity and improving turnaround times. It also enhances the precision of the components we manufacture every day. As demand continues to grow across the sectors we supply, we must ensure our equipment keeps pace. By strengthening our CNC capabilities now, we can support both current requirements and future projects with confidence.

The Doosan Lynx 2100LB delivers improved efficiency and greater consistency across a wide range of materials. It allows us to machine more complex parts while maintaining tight tolerances and strict quality control. In addition, the increased capacity supports smoother workflow within the workshop and improves overall productivity.

The RCF Bolt & Nut team raises over £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Screws, Brews, & Bakes – Raising Money for Macmillan Cancer Support

We were delighted to take part in this year’s Macmillan Coffee Morning by hosting our own ‘Screws, Brews, and Bakes’ fundraising event. The RCF team came together with colleagues from GSS Fasteners and Union Fasteners to enjoy homemade treats, fresh coffee, and great company, all while supporting Macmillan Cancer Support.

As a result, the event brought in a fantastic turnout from across the team. Colleagues baked and donated a wide range of cakes and sweet treats, which created an impressive selection on the day. Thanks to everyone’s generosity and enthusiasm, we’re proud to share that we raised over £400. This contribution will help Macmillan Cancer Support continue its life-changing work for people affected by cancer.

Most importantly, the morning created a strong sense of community across the businesses. Events like this show how small actions can make a meaningful difference. By coming together, sharing a few laughs, and supporting an important cause, we were able to raise both funds and awareness.

We’d like to thank everyone who baked, donated, attended, and helped organise the day to make ‘Screws, Brews, and Bakes’ a real success.
