Annual Easter Egg Drive Supports Teenage Cancer Trust

We were delighted to once again take part in our annual Easter Egg Drive, bringing together the teams from the shared office between RCF Bolt & Nut Co Ltd and Union Fasteners to support Teenage Cancer Trust.

Thanks to the generosity of our colleagues, we were able to collect a fantastic number of Easter egg donations. Each year, this initiative continues to grow, and it’s always great to see everyone get involved and contribute.

This is a charity that’s particularly close to the hearts of our team that we support year on year. We’re proud to play a small part in bringing comfort and positivity during what can be an incredibly challenging time for young people and their families.

A big thank you goes to Cathy for ensuring all donations were delivered safely to the hospital. Efforts like this make a real difference and highlight the importance of teamwork both inside and outside of the workplace.

Walsall Business Support Provides £10,000 Grant for CNC Machinery

We are pleased to have secured a £10,000 grant from Walsall Business Support towards our investment in advanced CNC technology. The funding, awarded in October, contributed towards the purchase of our new Doosan Lynx 2100LB CNC lathe and forms part of our continued programme of machine shop development and expansion.

This type of backing allows us to move forward with key investments while maintaining a clear focus on quality and capability. In addition, it highlights the importance of advanced manufacturing within the Black Country and shows that local organisations recognise the value of precision engineering businesses like ours. Support of this kind gives us added confidence to continue strengthening UK-based production and investing for the long term.

The Doosan Lynx 2100LB has already made a strong impact within the machine shop. It improves consistency, delivers tighter tolerances, and increases flexibility across a wide range of materials. As a result, we can machine a broader range of components in-house while maintaining the high standards our customers expect. The additional capacity also supports improved workflow and efficiency across the wider production process.

We are proud to operate in the Black Country, and it is encouraging to see local support directed towards manufacturers who are actively investing in modern technology. Funding from Walsall Business Support reflects real confidence in our work, our team, and our commitment to continuous improvement.

A Fresh New Look for RCF Bolt & Nut’s Company Van

We’re proud to reveal the brand-new look of our company van. We worked closely with the team at GingerApple Signs & Graphics Ltd, to refresh the vehicle branding for both RCF Bolt & Nut and our sister company Union Fasteners. The updated design reflects our brand clearly and consistently, while presenting a clean and modern finish that matches the standards we deliver every day.

Our van is on the road most days, visiting customers and suppliers across the West Midlands and beyond. Because of this, it plays an important role in how our business is seen. Whether we are arriving on site, making deliveries, or meeting customers face to face, the vehicle represents our company just as much as our products and service do.

We wanted the new branding to feel bold, professional, and instantly recognisable. The refreshed graphics now showcase both businesses clearly and strengthen our presence wherever we travel. In addition, the updated look ensures consistency across our wider branding and marketing materials.

We’re looking forward to putting plenty of miles on the van and continuing to support customers across the region. At the same time, we’re proud to represent the RCF Bolt & Nut and Union Fasteners names on the road every day.

We are pleased to announce that, effective Friday 2 January 2026, the entire business of GSS Fasteners Ltd has been acquired by its sister company, RCF Bolt & Nut.

This internal transfer represents a significant milestone for the business and marks an important step in bringing our operations even closer together. RCF Bolt & Nut and GSS Fasteners have operated from the same site for many years, working collaboratively to support customers across a wide range of industries. This acquisition formalises that relationship and strengthens our ability to deliver an enhanced and more integrated service.

By combining our resources, customers will benefit from a larger and more experienced sales team, a broader product range, and a more streamlined approach to sales and support. This transition allows us to build on the strengths of both businesses while maintaining the high standards of service, quality, and reliability that customers expect from RCF.

This acquisition supports our wider strategy for sustainable growth and continued investment in people, processes, and UK-based manufacturing. We are confident that this step will allow us to better support both existing and future customers as the business continues to develop.
